Happly Terms and Conditions

From time to time, Happly conducts various types of promotions, including but not limited to competitions, games, and discounts. The following terms and conditions govern the participation in these promotions. By participating, you agree to these terms and conditions:

 

1. Eligibility: Promotions are open only to new Happly bookings in New South Wales, unless stated otherwise in writing. Participants must agree to these terms and conditions to be eligible.

2.Promotion Restrictions: Promotions cannot be combined with other offers unless explicitly authorised by Happly at our sole discretion.

3. Age Requirement: If a participant is under 18 years old, they must have consent from their parent(s) or guardian(s) to enter the promotion and to agree to these terms and conditions.

4. Non-transferability: Promotions are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash.

5. Acceptance: Winners must accept the promotions ‘as is,’ acknowledging the terms herein.

6. Final Decisions: Happly’s decisions regarding the application of the promotion are final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into regarding these decisions.

7. Expiration: Unless otherwise specified in writing, promotions expire 12 months after the participant becomes aware of the promotion.

8. Exclusions: Directors and employees of Happly, their immediate families, and companies associated with the promotion are not eligible to enter.

9. Promotion Fulfilment: Happly will make all reasonable efforts to deliver the promotion as described. However, we reserve the right to substitute a promotion of equivalent value, or to cancel, suspend, modify, or terminate the promotion, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

10. Liability: Happly and associated entities are not liable for any loss, damage, personal injury, or death connected with the promotion, except to the extent that liability cannot be excluded by law.

11. Entry Ownership: All entries become the property of Happly upon receipt. We reserve the right to use any personal information, photos, videos, or other materials provided by participants for promotional purposes and to conduct the promotion. Failure to provide requested information may result in ineligibility for the promotion.

12. Privacy: We may use personal information for related purposes. Non-provision of personal information may affect your ability to enter the promotion or for Happly to offer certain services.

13. Governing Law: These promotion terms and conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

• Promotion available on qualifying Electricity plan applications made between 6th of March 2024 and 31st of March 2024 (“Promotional Period”) and may be withdrawn at any time by Econnex Comparison. Econnex Comparison retains the right to change or alter the terms of this offer.

You (“Customer”) will receive a $50 Digital Prepaid Mastercard® (“the Card”) when you successfully apply for an Electricity Plan via Econnex Comparison, subject to these Terms and Conditions.

You (“Customer”) will receive a $50 Digital Prepaid Mastercard® (“the Card”) when you successfully apply for a Gas Plan via Econnex Comparison, subject to these Terms and Conditions.

• Information on how to qualify to receive the Card/s forms part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is considered acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible to receive the Digital Prepaid Mastercard/s® you must apply for the Electricity Plan and/or Gas Plan via the following link: https://app.happly.com.au/onboarding

• Your Electricity Plan and/or Gas Plan must be activated within 30 days from the date of application.

• Eligible Recipients will receive the applicable Card/s by email up to 90-120 days after applying for the relevant plan/s.

• Econnex Comparison is not liable if any Customer details supplied are incorrect.

• Econnex Comparison is providing this offer in conjunction with the Electricity and Gas Plan retail services offered on their platform.

• You must be an Australian resident aged 18 or over. Econnex Comparison may request you to provide a copy of your valid ID for identification purposes.

• The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity to receive the Card/s and Customer’s information (including the Customer’s identity, age and place of residence) and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, tampered with the claim process, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of the promotion.

• Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

• When the request for a switch or connection cannot be completed, is unsuccessful, or a request is made for the cancellation of your Electricity Plan and/or Gas Plan within the first 45 days from the date of activation, you will not be eligible to receive any Card. There may be additional fees charged to the Customer by the chosen retailer in these events.

• If you transfer your service, you may have to pay a cancellation fee to your existing service provider, and there may be other consequences if you end your existing contract early.

• The Card/s are subject to any Mastercard Digital Gift Card Terms and Conditions supplied by Karta Pty. Ltd.

• Any ancillary costs with redeeming the Card/s are not included.

• No responsibility it taken for any lost or stolen Card/s.

• If the Digital Prepaid Mastercard® is unavailable, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute it for a card with equivalent value, subject to directions from a regulatory authority.

• If the offer is not able to be conducted as reasonably anticipated, due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to: technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the extent permitted by law: a. to disqualify any individual; or b. to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.

• This promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer from Econnex Comparison.

Econnex Comparison Terms and Conditions.

• Econnex Comparison will transfer your Electricity and/or Gas Plan request and details to the selected retailer.

• Econnex Comparison or the retailer may contact you to clarify any details or discrepancies in the information you provided for your Electricity Plan application.

• To cancel your request, you will need to contact the Electricity and/or Gas Plan retailer and inform them of your decision.

• Please note that we do not compare all brands in the market, or all products offered by all brands.
